WebIf you have a system like Clawhammer electric brewing system the wort enters the kettle from above instead of to the side. This makes it difficult to whirlpool without changing the system or buying a specific whirlpool attachment. In the video below Clawhammer detaches their system and looks like they are doing a hop stand rather than a whirlpool. WebI went for a 10 gallon system because I'm generally interested in doing half batches for higher gravity brews anyways. I'd agree with u/EngineeredMadness that a 15 gallon system seems ideal for 5 gallon systems. But if you have any interested in future-proofing for 10 gallon batches, obviously you'd need the 20 gallon.
