Having said all that this is a great laptop. It’s got probably one of the best keyboards there is on a laptop, screen as pretty amazing and performance pretty damn good. As mentioned the Lenovo Thinkpads have a BIOS capability to switch them. In the my Envy BIOS there is the capability of swapping whether FN is for F1-F12 or for the media keys.
