Therefore if you wish similar performance, you must go on your own devices to work up a load at your own risk. I would love to see a quickload for 77s/75s for 8208 xbr.

So, 41.2 to 41.3 grains should get close to 2609 ft/sec that remington quotes. And, 42.3 grains should get very close to 2650 ft/sec that the m118LR load gets. T. But you if you want less sensitive, the Hodgdon Extreme line of powders, along with the IMR Enduron powders are good candidates. IMR 8208 XBR is considered fairly stable plus it is available.
