WebJan 16, 2013 · This question has a validated answer. i got a step file from a customer and when i import into solidworks it comes in as a "imported surface" feature. is there a way to make this a solid?? also there is only 1 surface for the whole model. not sure if that makes a difference. please let me know what i need to do if i even can. thanks. answers: 15.
