An estimated 10% to 15%, about 10 million Americans, are affected by temporomandibular muscle and joint disorders (TMD). Postural habits such as head forwarding or holding the phone handset place pressure on joints and muscles which result in musculos‐ keletal pains such as headaches in TMD patients.
